RPG Short From China

Regular readers might have noticed that I’ve been focusing my web-scouring on Asian countries, in particular, 
Japan and China. I’ve turned up a few interesting Flash productions so far, but I have yet to find something as elaborate as this 8-minute short from a Chinese studio named Its Cartoon. I think the English title of the short is ‘RPG,’ which makes sense, because one of the characters in this short seems to gain a +130 bonus at one point, ala a role playing game. The short gets a bit talky in the middle, but the ending is worth the wait, so stick it out. Excellent soundtrack, beautiful background layouts, clever use of blurred PNGs, and a heavy drawing count for a Flash production. But here’s the catch - it’s an 18mb download, from a slow server. Its Cartoon is located in Hangzhou, China, which is 180 km southwest of Shanghai, but beyond that, I know little of this Flash production studio.
