Xombies Will Arrive on DVDs
filed Under: Uncategorized
The six-part, breakout, online animated series, ‘Xombie,’ is ramping
up for a feature-length DVD release. James Farr is the one-man army behind the ‘Xombie.’ It’s “written, funded, storyboarded, animated, edited and published” by James, and up until now, he’s only looked elsewhere for voice work. But that all seems to be changing. Wetsand Animation is a Canadian animation house that specializes in Flash productions, and Brian Finlay, the CEO, is now throwing his resources into the project.
According to an interview over at horrormovies.ca, the DVD release “will be a re-telling of the story everyone’s familiar with. It’s been expanded upon, and amped up. So while we’re covering familiar terrain, there are plenty of new twists and surprises to look forward to.” The DVD is currently expected ’sometime in 2006.’

I just started watching the “Xombie” series yesterday. I never bothered to watch it on “Newgrounds” because I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it. Was I wrong!
I’m hooked. This series is addicting. I felt like I was watching an HBO mini series. (That’s how hooked I was).
