PUCCA to Air on Jetix
The Flash-animated internet hit series PUCCA is now 
gearing up for a television launch. The original shorts (once you reach the pop-up page, click on ‘amusements’) were created by the Korean studio VOOZ, and they eventually spawned a robust toy and merchandising effort. Now 78 7-minute episodes have been ordered by Jetix Europe, “the leading pan-European integrated kids entertainment company,” and production has already commenced at Studio B Productions in Vancouver. According to reelwest.com, “the series, aimed at 6 to 12 year old kids, is the first Flash animation series created for Jetix Europe and will debut on its channels in 2006.”
