Award for The Chelsea Project
Back in July, Macromedia held their Pocket PC Contest,
which challenged designers, programmers, animators and developers to create intriguing Flash content for mobile devices. The winner in the ‘Most Innovative Use of Flash’ category was ‘Unplugged TV: The Chelsea Project,’ which was created by Toronto-based Unplugged Studio. It’s a ‘Sex in the City’-esque project that follows two 20-somethings Chelsea and Jenna who are best friends. The concept is to release 1-2 minute, serialized shorts of this soap opera every day. Head over to the Macromedia site to download the first episodes, titled ‘Mr. Right Now.’
