Flash Animated Butchers
Canada’s Teletoon network has added a new Flash-animated 
program to its lineup. ‘Sons of Butcher’ premieres tonight at 9:30pm, and viewers will be treated to a “wild ride through the quirky minds and adolescent fantasies of three would-be rock gods.” The band runs a butcher shop in Steeltown, and rocks out at night.
‘Sons of Butcher’ is produced by S&S Productions out of Toronto. The production includes a new twist on Flash animation, incorporating video-capture imagery into the character models. According to a Toronto Star article, the three main actors “act out their segments in front of a green screen.” A trailer can be seen at the Detour website, and an episode clip is viewable at Teletoon site.

Hey Aaron, the episode clip link doesn’t work. the site comes up but nothing happens…maybe it’s just me.

It’s working for me in Mozilla and in Netscape, but I don’t use IE, so it might be that. Or perhaps they’re not letting you watch it… (dramatic music sting)… for a REASON!
