Resfest Update #2

This is the second of 3 Resfest updates. The first installment flipped the spotlight 
on a music video for Of Montreal by Kangaroo Alliance.
Next up is a Flash-Animated video for Sioen’s song ‘At a Glance,’ which was recently featured over at Screenhead and Drawn! The directors are Eugene and Louise, a Belgian pair who not only animate, they paint, sculpt, design and create ceramics. The Resfest site lists After Effects, Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop as their main weapons, but their design sense and eye for composition are also put to good use here. 
But let us not forget who reportedly performed most of the character animation - Wouter Sel, the Belgian animator/designer. Check out Wouter’s student short ‘Mr. J Russell’ which screened at the Spike and Mike Film Festival. His MTV Idents are also worth a look.

Thank you guys/gals for putting this blog together. It’s just up my alley. There’s so much useful reference and plus the latest info on new talents and shorts. It’s going to take a couple of weeks to look thru all these links, but well worth it.
