Clowning Around With Sixty40

I recently stumbled onto Sixty40, the Sydney-based animation house, and they’re using Flash on most of their projects for clients like VH1, MTV and Nickelodeon. I got in touch with Mark Simpson (no relation), and he confirmed their preference for Flash. He added that most of their work is also brought into After Effects for further production.

If you want more, check out the live-action/animation sequences they did for the MTV Australia Video Music Awards.

And head over to the Sixty40 site to see more from this project that bowed in March of 2005.

Hello– I just want to say hi and give a very big thank you for this excellent work. I’m gonna read the whole post archive from start to finish because you focus exactly on something I’m investigating and documenting right now: the revolution in animation we are witnessing these last few years, especially thanks to Flash-based workflows.

Congratulations, you’re doing a superb work here.
