Whitehouse Releases Religious Cartoon
Steve Whitehouse is back with yet another ‘Mr. Man’ short film.
It’s been written that Steve has created over 140 shorts featuring the beloved, blinking character known only as Mr. Man.
The new short is called ‘The Prophets’ and in this piece Steve is sharpening his critical eye and aiming it at religion. I share with you Steve’s own disclaimer - that “the following film may be offensive to some viewers.” So, considering recent events, go with caution, and enjoy Steve’s latest creation.

O this is just awful! If I knew which was my prophet I’d be in the streets burning cars protesting.

The title was misleading. I only saw one prophet (Moses). There was a philosopher (Buddha), a myth (the generic Shiva), and a false prophet (Mohammed). Most misleading of all, there was a bad depiction of God himself (Jesus), who will judge all the living and the dead since death is one appointment nobody is will be late for.

Hello, I am a Muslim who has taken great offense at this. I would like you to know that I have already burned down both my cars and killed the postman. I did, however, show this to my neighbor who is a Born Again Christian and he promptly forgave me and then ordered a missile strike on my house.

Hey, I think the comments are as clever as the short. Too funny!

I’m not offended either.
I’m just amused that it’s just a typical Western misunderstanding of complexities of other cultures, and the repressed anger of the once-conquered nations.
What we witness isn’t a clash of religions or civilisations as Samuel Huntington puts it, it’s really neocons looking for a scapegoat to justify their imperialistic hold onto the world. Also, the Western world are trying to get rid of immigrants in their countries, and the incident in Denmark is the best chance they’ll take advantage of. It’s your typical Left vs Right, with religion & freedoms as mere embellishments for their podiums to put their foot on.
You should know it’s hypocrisy when the Western newspapers won’t publish cartoons or news that question the Holocaust, but when it comes to other issues, it’s okay for them to humiliate. Freedom of speech, indeed.
Oh, did you know that Hamas won the election in Palestine? Isn’t democracy wonderful?
Too serious for you? How about a joke?
How do you save a neocon from drowning?
You take your foot of his face.

This is well animated but also pretty much a waste of peoples time.
