Death Clock Teaser Eats Your Soul
As we all breathlessly away the arrival of Death Clock Metalocalypse on August 6th on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, we now have something to keep our eyes busy. It’s the official, extended teaser - of this Flash animated show being produced by LA-based Titmouse Studios.

I think I’ll check this out. I used to be “metal” back in high school, you know. Not anymore, though… now I’m just “adult contemporary” and “easy listening.” So sad… i’m only 22 years old.
But back in high school: FUCK YEAH! SEPULTURA FUCKING ROCKS YOUR FUCKING BALLS OFF! and MORBID ANGEL WILL MAKE YOUR EARS BLEED! and FEEL THE POWER OF VENOM!

I’m sorry I missed the movie but this flash commemorative retro-teaser made it all better. Just think if they2d had flash back in the day (when they shot dearthclock)

Seventies TV animation didn’t look good then and it looks less so now. While I have never cared for the low budget Ralph Bakshi style, it seems appropriate for the subject. Unfortunately, bad animation and a weak concept, one with very little humorous potential, makes Death Clock look to be a real stinker. Equally unfortunate is the number of advertisements and interstitials we’ll have to suffer until the network realizes there’s no in-built audience and no one can be persuaded.
