If you haven’t swung over to Hayasa Pictures to see their collection of Flash-animated shorts, set aside a few minutes, and start with ‘The Liar, part 1.’ It’s a 3-part story, that’s based on an ancient Armenian folk tale. Hayasa Pictures was founded by Hayk Manukyan, an animator with professional experience working on ‘Larry Boy: The Cartoon Adventures,’ a Flash-animated series from 2002. He’s got a sizeable online audience (nearing 100,000 a month), a strong following at Newgrounds.com, and a feature film in development.
