Anton Bogaty’s Coburn
Anton Bogaty has seen
his fair share of blog-fame – with posts on Drawn! and the all-mighty Boing Boing. So what’s one more?
Anton is best known for his gorgeous comics and sketch books, but he’s also quite the animator. Drawn pointed to this short, and more recently, he released ‘Coburn,’ and moody, haunting project animated primarily in Flash.

That was one haunting animation. It was good tho. And very interesting. I didnt get the ending tho. Was he a killer? Did he really get stabbed? Is he a zombie? I was kinda confused. And why was he flying with a cat. I dont get it. Even without understand the ending, I thought it was very well done, and very interesting!

Interesting animation. I found the pace slow, even if it was a tribute to the dead.
But, hey, that SWF–WTF? Let’s see: a movie frame that mimics a website’s layout as a constant commecial, and then the picture is hosted inside a mock up of a video player–what’s that about, a homage to the You Tube interface?
