Strika Series Set For Kick Off

Strika, an animation studio in Cape Town, 
Africa, have begun producing 13 one-minute episodes of ‘Supa Strikas.’ The series follows the ups and downs of a football (soccer) team. It’s based on a hugely popular comic of the same name that’s read by millions around Africa.

This is pretty good. From the quality of that player, it makes it seem like everything is 3d with that outline effect. Aaron, you sure its made in flash?

The teaser it’s good, correctly animated, and has got good effects.
I’m not sure if it’s 100% Flash. I read in their blog that backgrounds are made with XSI ( I don´t know what is it, I supose that is a 3d program).

Hi guys, I’m the lead animator on the project. What a compliment to think it’s 3d! It’s all Flash 8! The wide shots of the soccer stadium and backgrounds is the only thing that’s 3d. (Softimage XSI)

Im watching your animation over and over again. are you SURE its 100% flash 8? It doesnt seem possible ( excpet for the bkgs )
