Adam Phillips has limits.
He even said so in a recent email - he’s going to animate 1 short a day, but THEY MUST be shorter than 10 seconds and smaller than 200k in file size. Sounds reasonable. Oh wait, 1 short a day? Did I read that right? Okay, so much for limits.
This should come as no surprise to anyone whose followed Adam’s phenomenal animation career. In his 3-part CHF interview, Phillips detailed his feverish animation pace, but this new endeavor takes it to another level. He’s calling it ‘Animotd‘ (Animation Of The Day) and for Adam it’s an experiment “in personal commitment, storytelling, animation workflow and humour.” Over on Adam’s message boards, he lists that his latest movie took 3-4 hours to create. It’s a good thing he doesn’t have a blog to update every day. Err…
Also, notice that he’s also started a blog - but only one post a day, right? A man’s got to have limits…
