Classico Animation From John K
John K’s (’Ren & Stimpy’) new music video for ‘Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny’ debuted today. It’s a Flash-animated masterpiece titled ‘Classico,’ and it was drawn by John K, with BGs by Nick Cross, Jay Li, Marlo Meekins and Rex Hackelberg and animation by Copernicus Studios in Canada. They’re the animation studio behind John K’s recent music video for Weird Al.

This isn’t John K’s first collaboration with Tenacious D. While heading up the now defunct Spumco Animation, he and his team of Flash artists produced ‘F*ck Her Gently.’
Kricfaluci posted a massive blog entry today announcing the project, which features some pencil tests you won’t want to miss.
