McInerney’s Holiday Interpretation

posted by admin, 5.51 PM

Shawn McInerney, the founder of Moose Mouse Media, has worked on some big-time animated features. He was a Senior Technical Animator on Polar Express, and he did Visual Development for a gaggle of Sony Pictures Feature Animation films including Open Season, Surf’s Up and the upcoming Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. He’s also animated a heap of 3D TV spots, including a Superbowl ad for M&Ms.

But the man isn’t just a 3D animator - as he proves in his 2006 holiday card. Titled An Interpretive Dance by S. Claus, Shawn animated his holiday short using a Cintiq by way of Toon Boom. It’s his first all-digital 2D piece.
