Nick Cross, an Ottawa-based animator, cut his teeth working alongside John K on several projects including the Tenacious D video Classico, and the Ren and Stimpy story Life Sucks.

Cross has also begun to spread his wings as an independent animator. His most recent film, The Waif of Persephone, clocked in at 12-minutes, and is currently playing at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Next up is an 8:30 minute, Flash-animated short titled Yellow Cake, for which he just finished the animatic. Next up for Cross are layouts, but in the meantime have a gander at the first minute of the animatic.
