David Firth, the maestro behind Salad Fingers, just posted his most recent short titled Sock Lops, from his experimental Sock series. This fourth installment is not as gruesome as his 2006 holiday short, but equally as dark and complex. Say what you want about his penchant for blood and gore, but you can’t deny his gift for dialogue and his vivid imagination. Firth, who bases some of his work on dreams, seems to trust his writing to such a degree that he can wander down paths that others might feel too bizarre.
