Orchard Harvests ITV Mobile Spot
Grant Orchard, animator who studied at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design, animated a beautiful TV spot for ITV Mobile last year. Orchard makes his living doing adverts for companies like Compaq, Volvo and Virgin, and he’s represented by London-based Studio AKA. For this spot, Orchard employed XSI, After Effects and Flash.

I remember this airing every day on the channel. Makes a change for ITV to hire someone who can actually animate well for one of their commercials. Yes, I’m looking at you, Digital Text commercials!

Another case of a TV channels’ promotional material being about 400 times better than what they’re actually promoting.
