This was a fun project to work on.

I’ve worked with Eddie and Lili for several years on various projects. It’s great to see how there talents have evolved and how they always try to push their limits to the next level.

Can’t wait to see the final product.

Wow! It’s Mucha Lucha with all the cartoony fun taken out. Not trying to be mean or anything, but why make a new cartoon that’s so similar to your last? I’m sure both you and Lili have loads of other influences you could have of explored.

As I said in the interview, we are a skeleton crew, multi-tasking with a low budget. Obviously taking on 70+ minutes of animation is going to challenge us, so we will need outside help.

Also regarding your comment on keeping the animation 'local': this is in all aspects an international project. We are an Australian company, working out of LA with production money from Mexico!

Which other studio? I hope it’s not being sent overseas for production like I heard Mucha Lucha was. If thats true, then why? Are there no animation houses in this hemisphere up to the task? If I’m mistaken, please correct me. Anyway the new project looks great.
