Look what happened when he was given a free hand with “Adult Party Cartoon”. Nobody watched it and he couldn’t meet the deadlines, how is that setting an example to budding cartoonists?

It wasn’t funny, and neither is George Liquour. Trying to hide behind ‘oh the networks/advertisers were too freaked out by our dancing feces’ is all very well, but your dancing feces aren’t funny. They’re just shit. There’s something seriously wrong when you spend most of your professional career waiting for a chance to lovingly render a dog’s balls, asshole and crap for the edification of your viewers, or write a boring episode about your characters watching a fat guy take a dump.

And blaming it on the feces doesn’t work anyway, because South Park did exactly the same thing, but they made it work on national television and while it was still gross, they made it funny.
