Boulder Media Boards Disney’s Troy Ride

Dublin-based Boulder Media recently animated a new cartoon for Disney Channel’s Shorty McShorts’ Shorts project. Troy Ride was the brainchild of the National Television gang - Brumby Boylston, Chris Dooley, Bucky Fukumoto and Brian Won.

this is great! The designs are really different than usual and overall story and development was a blast! I really hope this makes it to a series!

I loved the mix of 2d and 3d.
I also like how the show exists to be funny and not to teach a “life lesson” at the end like so many other shows do these days. Good stuff.

This short is freakin awesome and hilarious to boot!! This and Bozzelbags Zip are my fave from the Shorty Mcshort Shortle Shortison line up so far!!

There is NO 3D animation in this show!! It was all done in Flash. There’s a pretty gruesome 3D camera move down a tunnel but that was done in After Effects.

fast paced and funny. I liked this a lot.
