Scraggle Muffin Fresh From the Oven
Without hearing the character’s voices or knowing what the storylines are, it’s hard to know if Scraggle Muffin is going to be a hit with the preschool crowd. But simply going off the look of the show, I’d wager a few bucks that it’s got a shot. The series is being brought to life by 30-year old Sydney-based artist Jonathan Dower, who runs Tui Studios along with Kelly Baigent. His experience at Walt Disney Australia’s studio shines through.

Wooo hooo, go Scraggle Muffin!!! Jonathon was our tutor on our 3rd year of our animation course and basically taught us more than he’ll ever know, he’s awesome!!!

That show looks like fun, I think it’s almost better without voices… It’s odd and hilarious that the little guy is laughing and we can’t here it….he seems to be doing it quite a bit too..doesn’t he get any work done?!
Love the look, animation is way too stiff, but the timing, cutting is great for the preschool demographic me thinks.

Thanks guys!… and Thanks Aaron!
My name is Jonathan Dower (not Dover)
Mukpuddy: So, are you saying you know more than I’ll ever know?.
Gene: My brothers name is Gene Dower…so since your names rhyme, I feel we have a great connection. Thanks for the props and yeah I agree the animation is stiff. But I like to use other words like ‘snappy’ or ‘a lot of pazazz’.The aim with Scraggle is to get the best stuff with the least effort (like so many things).
Cheers
Jonathan

Yes, that’s exactly what we mean. Bow to us!! You’ll find that as the years pass and your studio gets bigger, so will your head. We can bearly hold ours up…and don’t get us started on our giant ergonomic pillows we require to sleep.
