Lil’ Bush’s Approval Rating Already Sinking?
Comedy Central’s new Flash-animated series Lil’ Bush premiered last night. The show first premiered on the ailing Amp’d Mobile, which just filed for Chapter 11, and tvsquad.com’s Adam Finley just wrote a rather scathing review suggesting that the show itself is bankrupt.
According to an article on toonzone.net, the show is hand-drawn, then imported into Flash for more detailed animation. Sugarshack Animation, a studio in Bulgaria, produces the animation, and Finley writes that it appears to be “created with the first version of Flash ever, and sometimes their mouths don’t even move when they’re speaking.” Ouch.
Here’s a behind the scenes clip one of the mobile episodes for your review.
I found a few chuckles in the first made-for-TV episode, which can now be seen at comedycentral.com. The line “what happens in Iraq, stays in Iraq,” worked for me; and when Rummy murmurs through the whole show, I swear he says “ridin’ dirty” one time.

i don’t mind making fun of the president, but this was over the top and disgusting. and not really all that funny. i got bored half way through and found the characters to be annoying.

Hollywood Reporter: At Comedy Central, the debut of animated series “Lil’ Bush” averaged 2.1 million total viewers and 1.2 million in the demo at 10:30 p.m. That built on its lead-in, a repeat of “South Park,” which averaged 1.7 million total viewers and 1.1 million in 18-49.
“Bush” was the second-highest-rated series premiere on Comedy Central since “Drawn Together” in 2004 (behind “The Sarah Silverman Program”). It also was the highest-rated show Wednesday in primetime among males 18-24.

It’s a shame so many people in America are so stupid to enjoy this shit. And animators in the business wonder why executives are so difficult to deal with because they cator to those idiots.

Honestly, yeah the show is not great (putting it nicely), but I’m just happy that it pissed off the same stupid Americans that impeached Clinton for a badly placed stain.

This show is about 5 years too late and a depressing reminder of all the misery brought on the world since 2000. I’m trying to hide from Bush exposure for another year or two.

I’m a stupid American who loves this show.
Folks shouldn’t be upset about the portrial of this cartoon as much as the job performance of this president
Good luck to him and you for the next year and a half.
I’m waiting for the episode where they discover the ‘weapons of mass deception’

While Lil’ Bush does put a tiny spotlight on major issues with the Bush administration, it ultimately trivializes a very serious situation.
I am a big fan of Daily Show and Colbert Report, but the occasional chuckle I get from Lil’ Bush is not worth the damage it is doing (by making anyone in this administration look cute).
Everyone I know is boycotting this show.

TO ANYONE WHOM ENJOYS LIL BUSH, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, INSTEAD OF WATCHING THE SHOW TAKE A DUMB ON THE FLOOR AND WATCH IT FOR THIRTY MINUTES! BECAUSE THE SHOW SIMPLY SUCKS.
THAK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY

About the only funny thing on the Whole Show is how Lil’ Cheney speaks.
I just can’t make it for the 2 min it takes for him to say something. I will admit I voted for him but comedy is comedy. This is not funny so it shouldn’t be on a network called “Comedy Central” but that has never stopped CC before.

Honestly, I have not laughed this hard ever. I seriously think this is the greatest animated show ever. Genius writers!! Keep it up guys. There is not a thing wrong with this show. I can’t wait for season two. Finally, someone has the balls to call it like it is. The only people who hate this show are republicans.
