Akumi Team Conspires to Create Third Episode
Alan Smithee’s action-packed, sci-fi adventure series Akumi is back. Episode 3, titled Conspiracy & Capture, clocks in at a whopping 9-minutes and it’s as racy as ever, with jiggling and gratuitous crotch shots. The action is hot and heavy too, with an abundance of beautifully choreographed fight scenes. And in this episode, we meet a new character, Miltonius, who is surely an homage to Smithee, who provides the voice acting for this dark addition to the cast.
Pool’s Primal Instinct Productions is currently preparing for episode 4, which will be the last episode on the first DVD, due out later this year. Hats off to the crew: Dave Johnson, Dustin Remmel, Milton Pool and Tyree Dillihay.

again, they’ve got some impressive production values. nice job.
HOWEVER, i still don’t really like the writing, story, or acting on this series. It’s all very masterbatory..and i dont mean that in the literal sense. you can tell these guys love their anime and animate crazy action because that’s what they love doing…but outside of fellow anime fans that love the typical schoolgirl getting raped by an octopus monster, i dont see this getting much of a fanbase.
oh and after reading all those youtube comments, im once again reminded how fucking stupid youtubers are.
but again, im impressed with the visuals guys, you just need some more original ideas that you can work the fights into.

Story is weak, visuals are very pretty. Really nice to look at and for pete’s sake, remove the damn censor bars.
distracting. who the hell are you gonna upset anyway? we’re on the net. Anything goes. Stand by it.

Gotta comment again.
Those effects are top notch, real nice on that. Some great action shots too that compliment.
The constant boob bouncing makes the show hard to take seriously, what I mean by that is it’s distracting. However it has a market and it’s obvious I’m not your market as I’m not a 14 year old boy.
It’s well done, but story is weak at first glance. I probably should watch the other episodes..

really amazing design, BGs and effects work. really awesome presentation.
i agree that the story isnt all there but its clearly not about story as its realyl just about eye candy.
however this is pretty over the top sexist stuff. its a little hard to watch. i mean, a rap is a pretty nasty thing and its totally glossed over.
