To goldenrusset: What do you mean you need to render to PNG? Can you only render to SWF for your edit suite as is? Which video editing software do you use for your final edit for television? The reason being if you render thru a Mac you simply have to render to Quicktime (animation compression setting), and all your problems are solved, 1920 pixels wide of true HD no-quality-loss video format. Do you need to render out to PNG in order to more easily composite BGs in separately later with After Effects (because of PNG's alpha channel) or something like that? Just curious. We've been using Flash for broaddcast animation for nearly 10 years, and we haven't had problems with rendering for any high-def 2D television cartoon. Rendering as SWF's limits your resolution to whatever your pre-set canvas size is which either gives the disadvantage to your animator's workspace or to your editor importing/exporting the final output for broadcast. If the issue is to create mattes for compositing BGs in later, I can show you a fast an easy way in Flash to create perfect traveling mattes (without alpha channels) for someone in post to easily comp in bitmap BGs with AE. Just wondering why you need to export an image sequence for your final output? Let me know, maybe I can help. :)

great... BUT can i use it for a PNG sequence export. I work in TV and we can't use anything that only works in a SWF. Give me tools that render out to image sequences or else they're useless to anything except web applications. TV flash animators are always left out. How many TV cartoons are made in flash now? almost ALL 2d shows. so where's our support?
