Wartella Bangs Away With The Go
M. Wartella, an animator in NYC, has added his Flash-animation touch to a recent music video from Detroit garage-rock band The Go. The You Go Bangin’ On video was just named the Blender Breakout by Blender Magazine.
Wartella’s work can be seen on Wonder Showzen and the film The Ten. Prior to his work as an animtor, he created an underground art comic called Ackxhpæz.

This band is Jack White’s first band, they used to be on SubPop, but they kicked Mr. White Stripe out. Big mistake.

Except this is like 100 times more psychedelic. The hand-drawn type gives me Electric Co. vibes, but whatever, that’s just my frame of reference. I love this video. Awesome band.
