KLATT le Chien Means BURST the Dog

KLATT! le chien (BURST! the dog), is the brainchild of Alexis Vokaer, a 28-year old Belgian animator. The two-episode, Flash animated series is reminiscent of Happy Tree Friends – you know the blood is coming, but you watch to see how it will all go down. Here’s the pilot episode titled La Baballe.


The second episode is titled Le Retour (du bâton):

    I dunno. When the dog acts like a dog, I don’t laugh at it being hurt.

    When a man is wounded in battle, it’s tragedy. If I fall down a manhole and die, that’s comedy.
    (I think Mel Brooks said something like that)

    If it makes you feel better it looks like there’ll be futures episodes meaning that doggy get’s better. Those vet bills must be crazy. I like the style and the animation, I could see these shorts as part of Spike and Mikes Twisted Animation Festival.
