Brother Cardenas’ PopUp Video
Rafa Cardenas, a graduate of the Vancouver Film School, has produced some exceptional 3D-animated films. His short Pedrito el Valiente is over 125,000 views on YouTube and his film Calaverita was nominated for an Ariel, the equivalent of a Mexican Oscar.
Rafael and his brother Raul chose Flash for this short below, which was produced at the UCLA Animation Workshop. It’s titled PopUp.

I like this one. I’m not too sure why “O Christmas Tree” is playing… or at least it sounds that way. It has a “Happy Tree Friends” likeness to it but without all the blood and gore. Two thumbs up!

Cute… and a little disturbing at the same time.But, all around very good flash animation.
