Tui Studios Tells Tale of Mary the Braveheart
The gang at Tui Studios partnered with DDB Sydney to produce a 60-second spot for the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation. The spot, titled Mary the Braveheart, is an allegorical tale of a young girl fighting a battle against evil bacteria-laden beasts. Flash was used mainly in preproduction for this piece, and then Kelly Baigent and Jonathan Dower at Tui Studios employed Maya and After Effects to create the final cut.
And below is the animatic for the piece, which was primarily created in Flash and Photoshop.

Great piece… But anyone else notice the use of a tie fighter for the roar at 15 secs?

i completely thought the same thing when i heard it the first time, but when i heard it again, it just sounded similar at first, but ended different…. if that makes sense.
