Illworkz Works In Flash
Check out this self-promotional piece from Illworkz, a collective of Cal Arts grads who have been collaborating for the last five years. I was recently in touch with Jahmad Rollins, the Illworkz creative director, and he confirmed their character animation work is mainly produced in Flash, but they composite in Photoshop and After Effects.

That’s some fluid animation. Is that all shape tweened? I kid. I’d love to work on a SHOW like this, no tweening allowed, 5 second a week quota and a billion dollar budget.
