Los Angeles-based Flash and Flex folks are invited to a free night of industry speaker sessions in Van Nuys. The event starts at 7pm at Animax Entertainment. Here’s the official word:

Valley Flash Launches - Calling all Animators & Developers - if you are a Flash developer, Flash animator, Flash designer, Adobe Flex user, or just a Flash enthusiast - come to the first ever meet up of Valley Flash in Los Angeles. You don’t have to live or work in the Valley, you just need to show up for the speaker sessions from leading industry experts and also for the free food and drinks. Hope to see you all there.
