Rall Shows Bush the Door
Ted Rall, the editorial satirist, political commentator and syndicated columnist, has offered his swan song for Bush 43. With David Essman at the animation controls, Behind The Rubric (I had to look up “rubric” – means “an authoritative rule or direction”) puts a surrealist, rock-n-roll-super-group spin on the outgoing president’s resume, along with his cabinet’s supposed next steps. In this parody of VH1′s Behind the Music, Condoleezza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Alberto Gonzales and Dick Cheney all find themselves living far less auspicious lives. As with his earlier Rall collaborations, Essman employed Toon Boom in the production of the short.
