To promote their tennis products, the sports equipment and clothing company Head has teamed up with Serbian tennis champ Novak Djokovic and Boston-based animator Alex Butera to produce a series of online shorts, titled Speed Lessons. The production company overseeing the effort is Berlin-based Shape Minds & Moving Images, and the agency is Aimaq Rapp Stolle Werbeagentur. The notebook production design is presumably intended to make it appear as though Djokovic created the animation himself, and Butera’s loose illustration style fit the project quite naturally.
