Toon Boom Launches More For Less Tour
The Toon Boom folks, who recently released Animate and Animate Pro, have announced a new tour around the US. There will be discussions of the state of the animation industry, networking and then a software demonstration. The team will also offer $399.99 vouchers for Animate to anyone attending. The tour hits Ohio, New York, Illinois, Florida, Colorado, California (SF), Washington and Oregon – and more details can be found on the tour website.

Toon Boom as a company needs to spend less time promoting their half-baked products and more time fixing all the problems before attempting to sell them for a ridiculous amount of money.

More software and more programs to learn(*sigh)
There should be a law to how many programs can be introduced to the market. Artists need time to produce shit… not constantly learn new software.

Don’t believe the hype all too much, my friend went and got me a voucher-but they made it sound like they were giving away Toon Boom Animate for free..
…I’ll stick to studio….and now they got PRO! …and now Animate it looking like Studio…..it’s all very confusing and pricey indeed.
…and oh-if I paid 400 for TBS from your site…you bet damn well I’m using it for commercial purposes…educationial my ass…
