Toonbox Adds New Verses to Pushkin’s Life
Paul Mountian and the gang at Toonbox have embarked on a series of 5 Flash-animated shorts for Kaspersky Anti-Virus software. This first one below is a reimagining of Russian poet Alexander Pushkin’s duel with his brother-in-law Georges d’Anthès. The real life duel resulted in Puskin’s death, but Paul and his friends have another result in mind that may involve Kaspersky’s services.

I love it – but you guys called him “Puskin” and not “Pushkin”. Also, I didn’t think d’Anthes was his brother-in-law. Weird. But awesome animation.

thanks for the typo catch. the brother-in-law mention was based on a number of sources that confirmed it, like …. http://falcon.jmu.edu/~pleckesg/Pushkin/Bio.html
but i can’t confirm if he married pushkin’s sister-in-law before puskin’s death or after.
