Here’s a simple sequence from Gene Goldstein, in which he incorporated live-action footage with his animation. Gene used both Flash and After Effects in this short, titled Squeak.

I rarely ever post my own animation here on the site, as I’m pretty intimidated. You guys are all so damn talented! I’m more of animation producer, but lately I’ve been messing with a new online animated series titled Cartoon Cannon. It’s a talk show about the world of animation, and I built it for Lineboil.com, as that site has a broader focus. The production is built for speed – mainly waist up animation, super simple mouth libraries and primarily one location. So far I’ve managed to knock out 3 rather limited episodes in about 6 weeks, and I’m going to try to keep that up for as long as I can. The most recent episode focuses on the Family Guy Volume 7 DVD release, and I was lucky to be joined by the multi-talented Eric Bauza on this one. He provided the voices of several Family Guy cast members. Be gentle….

We rarely feature Flash anime here, but I spotted this unusual piece over at Newgrounds and had to share. It’s titled Cooking Sama and it was created by Misaki Watanabe at Studio Hasai. It gets sexually suggestive around 2:50, but there’s nothing worth hiding from your boss.

There no Flash animation in this promotional video below, but it’s the spawn of an animated project you may have seen here. It’s a commercial for Manny Galan’s Dookie-Poo figures. Go buy one, or visit the official site for downloads and videos.

Andy Coyle recently posted the updated Space Knights title sequence on his blog. The project, which was initiated at Fatkat, was selected to be part of The Detour on TELETOON Pilot Project, as we announced here almost exactly a year ago. The team produced 2 episodes that comprised the pilot, and Coyle and his friends Jon, Tavis and Pat worked on this intro.
