Rall Draws a Line From Florida to Iran

While elections in the US are far from perfect, I think Ted Rall’s comparison to the recent shenanigans in Iran are a bit of a stretch. As in the past, David Essman elected to use Toon Boom in the production of this short, titled America Decides 2000. What do you think?

If memory serves, I recall he wrote an op-ed along those lines back in 2000.

Sure, it’s a stretch, but he’s being satirical. However, some US politicians in the opposition have drawn parallels between themselves and the Iranian protesters without being satirical and I think that is a much more of a stretch and ultimately much more ironic.

Interesting footnote is that 8 years later, the Democrats DECIMATED the GOP. So let’s hope the parallels don’t stop here.

Why doesn’t he do a cartoon about Palin quitting her only job and both of those Republican Senators who were cheating on their wives? Those are cartoons just waiting to happen! ;)
