Raise a toast to Felix Massie, who just finished directing his first TV spot. The UK animator worked through ArthurCox (in collaboration with The Gate Films) to bring this IRN-BRU beer spot to life for drink maker A.G.Barr. The campaign features Sir Swigs-a-lot and his Mighty Glass. Massie and Steve Whittle handled the Flash animation, while Bristol-based artist Matthew Walker took care of the CG elements.

The latest Baman and Piderman short find Baman stuck in a pile of cakes. I think that was the plot of the Batman Forever feature, but I’m not entirely sure. The series is by the wickedly-fast animator Alex Butera, and he also has “helps” from his girlfriend Lindsay Small. This is Escape Da Cakes.
