Perera Directs Monster Auditions
Renmotion’s Suren Perera (Dirk Breaka) recently directed a series of 1-minute, Flash-animated Monster Auditions for the Australian TV network SBS. Perera and Stu Connolly created the concept. Here’s one of the 10 shorts, titled Phil.

That was really cool. The designs are sweet and the animation smooth! Kinda reminds me of Elizabeth Ito’s monster short.and some how slightly like Clay Pride.

Definetly reminds me of the Elizabet Ito Cal-Arts short film…Interestingly similar.
I liked Elizabeth’s short when I first saw it on the Cal-arts website, and this version of her work is definetly a homage to her genious.
