Cedric Villain has delivered his submission for the Annecy 50th Anniversary contest on YouTube. The Festival international du film d’animation à Annecy kicks off on June 7th, and the winner of the competition gets a flight to the festival and a 6 night hotel stay. This piece builds rather slow, but it pays off nicely at the end:

Working out of Saatchi & Saatchi, Albert Pardo incorporated Flash into a recent production pipeline in a very unique way. For this Yoplait Go-GURT spot below, Pardo utilized Flash as his “pencil-test” tool, getting his timing right before printing out the frames on paper. He then used crayons to “ink” them frames on a lightbox, and eventually scanned them back into the computer for compositing. The animation is rather simple, but it’s a great looking result.

Peabo, one of the most popular animators behind Weebls-stuff.com, has produced a new music video for the DJ/Music Producer known as Johnny Massacre. The video is a Flash-animated “pet-project” by Peabo, and the track is titled Ultrasound.
