You may have already seen this over on Cartoon Brew, but I figured a nice, clean video version was worth a re-post. It’s the animated promo for Universal’s Get Him to the Greek – produced by Titmouse Inc. It was animated in Flash in about 2 weeks, according to the director Mike Moloney. I believe it aired on Adult Swim.
One of the latest animated JibJab Sendables illustrates that love comes in many forms. This piece was designed by Scott MacDonald and animated by Kevin Elam, both talented artists who I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past. It’s titled Octopus Anniversary:
Berlin-based animator Christen Bach has been overseeing his own version of the exquisite corpse game, but in animated form. He calls it Animation Tag Attack, and you may have read about this animated relay-race over at Cartoon Brew. The latest project, or episode 6, was started by London’s Maxwell A. Oginni who will hand this Flash-animated segment off to Ewen Stenhouse.
Canadian animator Shaz Lym displays why Flash animation has no bounds. This piece isn’t about software, or technology – it’s simply an animator with a vision. This “traditionally” animated action sequence is the first in a series of shorts Lym is intending to create. It’s called Mr. Fresh, and this initial installment is titled Purple Shadows, a reference to the box-faced badies. Lym is currently working at Cuppa Coffee.
