McBusters is this month’s reigning champion over at Channel 101, the short film festival that brought you House of Cosby’s and Twigger’s Holiday. Myke Chilian is the mastermind behind this new “pilot” and he enlisted the multi-talented Eric Bauza to provide some voices and sound design, while Mike Jacobson handled the compositing in After Effects. Chilian is currently working at W!LDBRAIN on The Ricky Gervais Show. Okay, onto the show… below you’ll witness the merger of two American favorites – Ghostbusters and McDonalds.

Dave Anderson is a BAFTA-nominated writer/animator and founder of the London-based studio 12Foot6. Along with Andrew Kelleher and Barry Evans, Anderson has been hard at work on Dog Judo, which is a Flash-animated online series commissioned by Virgin Mobile in 2004. They’re up to 40 episodes now, in which we follow a pair of judo-loving pups who aim to train, but never quite sort it out. Here’s an episode titled Shocked:

Suren Perera and Stu Connolly created this kick-ass new series for the Australian TV network ABC. The Dukes of Broxstonia speak in a nonsensical babble, and they have the best intro theme song I’ve heard in a while. They’ve already made 10 thirty-second shorts, but the series has been picked up for a longer format as well – 3 minute shorts. The animation was handled by Sticky Pictures. Here’s a short episode:

Episode 2 of Toon Wolf has been delivered to Channel 101, and it features references to Teen Wolf, Back to the Future and Paula Abdul’s Opposites Attract music video. You’ll also see cameos by Bill Kopp (Schnookums and Meat), Matt Danner (The Drinky Crow Show director), Eric Bauza (voice actor from El Tigre) and John Kricfalusi (Ren & Stimpy). The episode was written and directed by Abed Gheth, and animated by MC Griffin.
