Dave Redl, refusing to let the holiday spirit die, has released a new Christmas episode of Family Pants this week. Okay, he’s actually just late. We can related, Dave, to animation deadlines passing us by. As you say in your blog post – better late than never. Here’s Holiday Hedging Horror:

Earlier this month, a new Flash-animated series premiered on The Hub. Dan Vs. is the creation of Dan Mandel and Chris Pearson. The premise goes like this: “Dan thinks the whole world is against him. Maybe it is, and maybe it isn’t — not even his laid-back friend Chris is totally sure. Maybe Dan’s just imagining it all.” My good friend Matt Danner, in the Supervising Producer role, is leading the Flash-animation charge with his stateside crew, and the team at Big Star in South Korea is animating as well. The show airs on Saturdays at 9pm. Here’s the trailer:

Russian-native Nadya Mira is currently attending Gobelins in Paris, and working Flash into her bag of tricks. This 12-second clip, titled Rocketman, shows great promise.

Wayne Stamps, who was a writer on The Proud Family, has created a new web series about a superhero who just happens to be the current POTUS…. aka the President of the United States. We follow the cigarette-jonesing Commander In Chief, who leads a double-life as the muscle-popping marauder known as B-Rock. The 1st episode has been delivered, and the team announced that 12 have been completed. Wayne Stamps, David Corbett and Tyree Dillihay are acting as series Executive Producers.

TomSka (Thomas Ridgewell) has released the third episode of his online series asdf. The first two installments have done over 7 million views each on YouTube, and this one seems fated for the same heights. It’s sorta like micro-sketch comedy, and it’s hysterical. This episode was animated by Jamie Spicer-Lewis.
