Since I’ve been working at Mondo Media, we’ve produced only a few new Happy Tree Friends episodes, and no KA-POW! installments. They’re not cheap to make, and we’ve been scratching our heads on how to get more into the oven. Kickstarter seemed like the logical next step, and so the Mondo Art Department has put together a plan that will raise the money while also getting some great limited-edition t-shirts and posters in the fan’s hands. I hope you’ll join me in wishing Edd Gould (Eddsworld) a speedy recovery from his 2nd bout with Leukemia as it’s spelled in New York, or Leukaemia as it’s spelled in Old York. More particularly, Gould has acute lymphoblastic leukemias, a cancer that attacks your white blood cells. Here’s Edd’s announcement, which includes an appearance by his pal TomSka (Tom Ridgewell). The team at Kilogramme has hatched a new, musically-driven Easter short featuring ballet-dancing baby chicks. It was designed by Craig Knowles, and subsequently animated by Claire Grey and David Ridges. The team used Flash as well as After Effects.

Chris O’Neill’s latest Leo & Satan episode emerged from the depths late last night. He’s teamed up with NAMBLA on this episode (not really) to bring you a heartwarming (not really) episode about how improper care of your game controller can lead you to hell (really). The gang at Mukpuddy have added their animation talents to a new live-action music video for PNC. The track is titled That Kinda Guy, and it was co-directed by Askew One and Mukpuddy. It’s kind of a throw-back track with that California Love type sound from the mid-90s.
