Mark Pinter (remember the KAFF ident?) recently directed this new Flash-animated short, titled Fred, a Fodrász (Fred the Barber). The story, which was originated by Zoltan Lehotay and Robert Pregardt-Paur, centers on a haircut gone wrong. Flash was used as more of an ink-and-paint tool in this pipeline, as you can see the animation is very full and ‘traditional.’

As we all get ready to drink 2011 into oblivion, how’s about one last brain-crushing, eye-crossing, stomach-flipping party night with Red and Blue? Your wish has been granted with a new episode titled Brain Switch.
While everyone else was crafting their animated Christmas card, Mexico’s Marco Ibarra was hard at work on a birthday animation. Playmates is the title of the Ren-and-Stimpy-inspired video Ibarra created for his best friend, Stefie Zöhrer. Together, they’ve created an animation collective called Crómpëfk.

Lindsay Small-Butera, one half of the Baman Piderman team, has placed a new holiday animation under our Christmas tree. Its the holiday card from Hero 4 Hire Creative, which she co-directed along with Dan Flynn, and they used Flash for most everything you’ll see, and After Effects for post production. Mike Nordstrom Alex Small-Butera helped on the animation front. You can read more about the production effort over on her tumblr.
