Barone’s Student Short – Tough West
Here’s Henrique Barone’s latest film from his studies at the Vancouver Film School. It’s titled Tough West, in which you’ll see Barone’s very firm grasp on background layouts, composition and color. A critique I’ll toss in – the short isn’t quick on the draw. We linger too long on the opening shots, and don’t keep the pace throughout. But a solid film – congrats, Henrique!

That was really good! It fit perfectly with the voice over, had some great animation, and a really cool idea! And loved how circular the story was.
