Lindsay Small-Butera, one half of the Baman Piderman team, has placed a new holiday animation under our Christmas tree. Its the holiday card from Hero 4 Hire Creative, which she co-directed along with Dan Flynn, and they used Flash for most everything you’ll see, and After Effects for post production. Mike Nordstrom Alex Small-Butera helped on the animation front. You can read more about the production effort over on her tumblr.

You may have already seen this one on Reddit, where it rocketed to the homepage. It’s an animated marriage proposal brought to life by James Lee. It was produced for Mike and Christie and you’ll be happy to know they’re a newly engaged couple!

Luciana Eguti, Paulo Muppet and Céu D’Ellia all directed this new short coming out of BIRDO. It’s titled Paulicéia – Mário de Andrade, “a tribute to one of the greatest Brazilian writers of all time.” All of the character animation was produced with Flash.

It’s Friday, so you and your alcoholic friends should probably just head to the bar at lunch and call it a week. As you pack up yer shit, how about one for the road? Here’s Chug-A-Chug-A-Brew-Brew, the latest Dick Figures episode, which takes us to the wild west, where the booze train is about to collide with the Red Express.

Goodbye Kitty – don’t go! You have too much to live for. Yes, it’s the end of Goodbye Kitty… season 1. Will there be another season? You’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, check out the big season finale, Kittycide, which I’d argue is the best of the batch. Big ups to the series creator Todd Goldman, writer Greg Grabianski, directors Mike Nassar and John Martinez and the whole gang at Six Point Harness who helped bring this first season to life (and death).
