Seattle-based animator Anton Bogaty recently hooked up with his city-mates Denelian, a band the Portland Mercury compares to Joy Division. The video is for the track It’s Nothing Personal, We’ve All Got to Eat.
Handle and Spout Productions, which was founded by TV producer Paul Shuttleworth, has teamed up with BBC Worldwide to deliver a new Flash-animated series called Harry and Toto. The 26-episode show is set to premiere in Spring 2008 on CBebbies. The two stars of the show, Harry the Hare and Toto the Tortoise, aim to help teach children about the concept of opposites.
M. Wartella, an animator in NYC, has added his Flash-animation touch to a recent music video from Detroit garage-rock band The Go. The You Go Bangin’ On video was just named the Blender Breakout by Blender Magazine.
Wartella’s work can be seen on Wonder Showzen and the film The Ten. Prior to his work as an animtor, he created an underground art comic called Ackxhpæz.

Crash Bandicoot, who began life on the original Playstation back in 1996, went on to become the 14th biggest selling game franchise.
And on October 2nd, his gaming legacy continues on a multi-platform title Crash of the Titans, an adventure game built by Sierra Entertainment. The game features a 2D Flash-animated intro that was produced by Atomic Cartoons. The 1-minute shadow puppet sequence moves beautifully.
According to Jeff Agala, the director at Atomic, the entire piece was animated in Flash and then brought into After Effects to “goose the shadow effects.”
