Flash Empowers

Just in time for the biggest dogfight of the year, SuperNews sends up the US Election with a 2:30 minute quickie titled Top Gov. This Flash-animated show spoofs the 1985 feature film Top Gun, but swaps in Sarah Palin (Moose) for Anthony Edwards (Goose) and John McCain appropriately in Tom Cruise’s career-defining role as Maverick.

It features the Buddhist Monkey is his third starring role; his previous appearances were in Enter the Garden and Books of Fury. Your are hereby commanded to lay our eyes on Common Scents, Steve Whitehouse’s 3-minute short. According to Steve, this is “a tale of lust, greed and the overwhelming desire to smell good,” and you’ll likely notice that it serves as an allegory concerning more than just romantic endeavors. I mean, the original film had its fair share of sexual innuendos, but it’s more hoots than hooters. The new project starts on September 21st at 3pm ET (the original feature first, then the series premiere).

The series is being animated at Fantasy Prone. This other promo is infused with far less Viagra.
