Anton Bogaty, whose work has been featured here several times (this week even), has released a new original short titled Death by Dying.
Like much of his Bogaty’s work, he haunts us with visions layered in subtext. Here we see a young girl fascinated by death. Her morbid interest is piqued when she has a more personal encounter with the end.

Anton Bogaty, who has been featured on Boing Boing (not once, but twice), Drawn! and CHF a few times too, has released a new short. Under the Noodle is one of Bogaty’s shortest works, but also one of his most thought provoking. The spunky music by Ollie Glatzer and laugh track seem to toy with us, as the visuals convey something much darker and perverse.
Anton Bogaty,
the animator behind Coburn, a short featured here this summer, is back with another haunting Flash-animated short. Manning is a slow burn, filled with vivid imagery that packs a weighty punch. His animation style is limited, but Bogaty’s strong illustration style, built from years of comic work, cuts strong poses and powerful expressions.
Anton Bogaty has seen
his fair share of blog-fame – with posts on Drawn! and the all-mighty Boing Boing. So what’s one more?
Anton is best known for his gorgeous comics and sketch books, but he’s also quite the animator. Drawn pointed to this short, and more recently, he released ‘Coburn,’ and moody, haunting project animated primarily in Flash.
